PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP at Central Model School Amtala By International Photographer Sri ASIT PODDAR – Associated with Legendary Film Director Satyajit Ray’s Unit. Associated with Utpal Dutta’s drama group P.L.T. Written paper for World of Art for James Medisons Art University, Virginia, U.S.A.Photographies for the book on Raj Bhavan of Kolkata a heritage building. Organised workshops and exhibitions in different countries.An early exposure to a varied array of skills and experiences is crucial in a child’s quest for their future interest and passion. Like with most hobbies, taking up photography can actually benefit children in many ways.It teaches them to be observant & sensitive to their surroundings, Develop attentiveness.It helps enhancing their visualization skills, thus, encouraging them to be an out of box thinker.

Beyond curriculum Students of class VI- XI visited NSHM knowledge campus affiliated to WBUT at New Alipore on 22.03.23 .
This institute provides diverse professional learning platforms including hotel and hospital management & technology, Media and design, MBA and mass communication programs.
The motto of Central model School through this workshop is to inculcate among students the importance and benefits of professional learning courses as in today’s world professional development is a vital and a must prospect to open opportunities for career advancements nationally and internationally. It can assist one in honing new skills and in learning new ones.
In this workshop, students got the oportunity to learn about the do’s and don’ts of Dining etiquettes, a brief knowledge about the process of interview and had a small tour of the entire campus.
The entire program was supervised by the co founder and owner NSHM knowledge campus Mr. Arnab Roy.

BEYOND CURRICULUM: Students of Class I- III visited Alipore Jail Museum on 16.03.2023, a National Historic Landmark of Kolkata. Notable Freedom fighters who were incarcerated here include Jawaharlal Nehru, Subhash Chandra Bose, Chittaranjan Das, Dinesh Gupta, Dr B C Roy to name a few. It was a walkthrough of the Freedom struggle & sacrifices of countless freedom fighters who devoted their life to the nation during the British Period.

FIELD TRIP- PLANT NURSERY. Students of Central Model School Amtala visited Green Mall – Plant Nursery established by Sri Dinesh Rawat.Green Mall is a facility for garden lovers spread over an area of twelve acres. Students had a wonderful learning experience and were full of excitement to see around 2500 species of Indoor & Outdoor plants, almost 500 types of pots and planters, potting mix, tools, equipment and consumables available here. Teachers explained the various parts of the plants and their uses, gave information about different flowers and plants, the importance of trees and the need to protect and conserve them.
