SCHOOL REGULATIONS

  • Students are expected to demonstrate an increasing self- discipline with age and to exercise the freedom given to them responsibly. They should treat all members of the staff and all adults with respect and politeness. They should be gentle and courteous and self restraint should be a characteristic of every student of the school. Good manners and polite behavior is a part of education.
  • When the bell is rung, students must go to their respective classrooms; the classrooms must be neat and tidy and looked after by the class monitor. Silence is to be strictly observed during class hours and during the change of teachers or when going from one class to another. During the absence of the teacher, boys must obey the monitor of the class. Those who have been absent and those who come late, must show the teacher their Regularity Record duly countersigned by the Principal/ Prefect of Discipline.
  • A teaching atmosphere is necessary for good teaching. So no outsiders are allowed to visit the classrooms or the teacher without proper permission. Any other activities that do not pertain directly to the actual teaching of the school programme can only be allowed with the explicit permission of the Principal.
  • People are responsible for the safe custody of their books and belongings which must be marked clearly with their names.
  • Any damage to school property must be remedied at the cost of person responsible for the damage.
  • Students are forbidden to bring mobile phone/walkman, transistor, watches, i-Pad and costly jewellery, No books, periodicals or magazines of any kinds other than school and library books may be brought to the school.
  • Use of tobacco in any form or smoking in the school campus is strictly forbidden.
  • Any complaint or suggestion regarding pedagogy, curriculum etc. Should be made to the teacher concerned or the principal.

PRIVATE TUITION

  • It is strictly forbidden for any pupil to take private tuition from any of the teachers of this schl without the written permission of the Principal.
  • It is normal that teaching should be adequate in the school and that tuition should not be required for any average student.

RULES REGARDING WITHDRAWAL

  • Fee once paid are not refundable in any circumstances.
  • 2. If the request or withdrawal or Transfer Certificate is made after beginning of the new session the charges will be as follows :
    (April)- 1 month fee + TC Charge
    (May/June) – 3 month fee + yearly charge + TC Charge
    (July/ Sept.) – 6 months fee or full year fees (as the case may be) + TC Charge.
  • Withdrawal or TC fees will be charged as per current rate of the session.
  • No tuition fees except arrears will be charged if a student is told to withdraw by the school authorities or a request is made by parents at the end of the academic session.
  • Should a pupil be removed from the school, no certificate will be granted until all dues to the school have been paid.
  • Applications for a transfer Certificate need to be made in writing to the Principal. This must be collected from the school office and signed for and a prescribed fee is to be paid. Duplicate copies of Transfer Certificate are ordinarily not issued.

PARENTS AND GUARDIANS

  • Parents are requested to see that their children attend school punctually, and to ensure that those who come to take the children home are there at the time the school closes. Identity Cards are issued from the Scholl office and it is advisable for the Nursery and K.G. children that this identity Card be retained with the persons authorized to take the child from the school.
  • Parents or guardians are requested not to meet their children or interview a teacher during school hours without the permission of the Principal as the members of the staff may not leave the class room during a teaching period.
  • All correspondence regarding the students is to be addressed to the principal.
  • Parents are requested to co-operate with the work of the school by enforcing regularity and discipline by taking a general interest in the children’s progress and by attending Parent-Teacher meeting when requested to do so.

SECURITY OF CHILDREN

The school shall responsible for the children from opening hours to closing hours only. Therefore it is strictly requested to the parents to arrange for the collection of their children when the school is closed for the day as informed. Parents should fully own the responsibility for every mistake in the code of behavior. Mobile phone is strictly prohibited in the school premises


ABSENT

  • Parents must not allow their ward to absent himself of flimsy reasons. But if he is absent “excuse note” must be written in these columns. If the child is absent to THREE or more days consecutively, a doctor’s certificate must be produced.

    A student who has been absent to the day before the test will not be allowed to appear for the examination or test unless the principal has been informed, IN WRITING on the day of absence itself.
