After the completion of exams, a series of engaging and educational activities were conducted on 26th March 2025 (Wednesday) to enhance studentsβ practical knowledge and reinforce key concepts in Mathematics and Science.
Activities Conducted
- Multiplication Table Challenge (Classes I β IV) Objective: To strengthen the mathematical foundation of young learners by improving their multiplication skills through fun and engaging exercises. Description: Students participated in interactive multiplication table games, quizzes, and oral recitations. The activity aimed to enhance their calculation speed and numerical fluency in a playful manner.
- Indicator-Based Activity (Classes V β XI) Objective: To introduce students to the concept of acid-base indicators using natural and household substances. Description: Students experimented with turmeric, hibiscus, lemon, baking soda, and cold drinks to observe color changes that indicate the acidic or basic nature of substances. This hands-on activity helped them understand chemical properties in an engaging way.
- Soap Preparation (Classes V β XI) Objective: To provide students with a practical understanding of saponification, the chemical process behind soap-making. Description: Under supervision, students used caustic soda and Dalda (vegetable fat) to prepare soap. The process demonstrated how fats react with a strong base to form soap, reinforcing concepts of chemistry through real-world applications.
The post-exam activities provided students with a refreshing break from routine studies while reinforcing important academic concepts through experiential learning. The hands-on approach not only made learning enjoyable but also deepened their understanding of fundamental principles in Mathematics and Science.
