CENTRAL MODEL SCHOOL organised Post Examination Activity Programme from 11th March 2024- 15th March 2024. Throughout the phase we have incorporated various activities from various aspect.
The activities which were conducted:-

1) Cricket Match

All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. This inspired us to organize this activity which improves our students’ hand- eye coordination, flexibility and stamina .

2) T shirt painting

Isn’t it an innovative idea to add some imagination & personal touch to the tshirts worn out after repeated use? Painting t-shirts was organised to develop fine motor skills, imagination and diverse perspectives.

3) Visiting Vishal Mega Mart

This activity was organised as remedy to the students’ post exam boredom and lack of purpose , promoting their observation and awareness of the market scenario.

*4) Making towel teddy bear

Children would definitely be proud of making their own teddy bears instead of purchasing the same from the market. This was organized for benefits like developing fine motor skills, creativity, and imagination .

*5) Cleaning classrooms

Cleanliness is next to Godliness. Cleaning activity was organised to teach our students that every single human being should come forward to get the benefit of a clean surrounding.

*6) Making paper flower baskets

This activity was organised to improve creativity, fine motor skills, problem solving skills, teamwork capability among the students.

*7) Umbrella and claypot Painting

This activity was organised by the faculty members to stimulate imagination, fine motor skills, creativity and self expression among the students.

*8) Playing musical chairs

This fun game was organised in the activity session of Central Model School Amtala. There is a great lesson about time management and speeding up reaction time, embedded in the game.

*9) Tying shoelaces and wearing tie

It would be ridiculous to achieve academic excellence on one hand and rely on others for wearing tie or tying shoelaces . This activity was organised to develop a sense of independence and confidence among the littles.

*10) Gift wrapping activity

Gifts are precious with a touch of care and affection .This was organised for the benefits of visual motor skills, bilateral co-ordination etc.

*11) Origami making

‘oru’ in Japanese means ‘to fold’ and ‘kami’ in Japanese means ‘paper’. This activity of folding paper was organised to enhance patience, persistence ,and strengthening of brain.

*12) Thread painting

This is an unique way of embellishing the quilts by painting the images on quilt top , clothing or anywhere. It was organised to foster imagination, fine motor skills, hand eye coordination etc.

*13) No fire cooking

Cooking is an essential skill as nothing can ever be achieved with an empty stomach. This was organized to encourage students to be self – directed and independent.

*14) Zumba dance

Zumba is a fitness program that involves cardio and Latin inspired dance .It was organised being effective for weight loss, stress management and boosting heart health.

*15) Potluck

A potluck is a communal gathering where each group contributes a different , often homemade dish of food to be shared. Faculty members organised this to facilitate the notion of sharing, acceptance and mutual compassion.

16) Kho kho

This traditional Indian sport was organised under the guidance of faculty members. This aids in strength, flexibility and better communication.

Class – Pre Primary

1) Nursery, LKC, UKG-
Hopscotch & Obstacle – (Indoor)
This activity helps children strengthen muscles along with balance and coordination, risk taking lack of a desire for change. It encourages physical activity, creativity and social skills.

2) Nursery, LKC, UKG-
Brain Game – (Indoor)
This activity helps children to become better at certain thinking, Enhance hand -eye coordination. It also helps children to strengthen the concentration and focus for longer periods.

3) Nursery, LKC, UKG-
Visit Vishal Mart – (outdoor)
This activity helps children to build literacy skills and numeracy skills and to understand food choices.

4)Nursery, LKC, UKG-
Paper crumbling and Quilling – (Indoor)
These activities give children an opportunity to express their creativity. It boosts fine motor skills and hand- eye coordination,as well as being an excellent way to curb stress and improve concentration.

5)Nursery, LKC, UKG-
Flowers making by Primary colour & Potluck – (Indoor)
This activity helps children to sort, organise, categorise, and compare objects. Potluck encourages kids to share foods among themselves and boosts the good habits of ” sharing and caring “.

The post-exam activities were meticulously planned and executed to ensure a smooth transition from the examination phase to the subsequent stages of evaluation and result processing. These activities encompassed various tasks aimed at securing examination materials, addressing logistical considerations, and initiating the grading process.The post-exam activities were executed with precision and diligence, reflecting our commitment to upholding the highest standards of integrity and professionalism in the examination process. Through effective coordination and collaboration, we have successfully transitioned from the examination phase to the subsequent stages of evaluation and result processing.With a robust framework in place, we are poised to uphold the highest standards of academic assessment and contribute to the achievement of our educational objectives.
